However, chores are a part of life and the ability to perform them quickly, efficiently, and with a good attitude, will go a long way for years to come. The Chore Race: Assign each child a task or a room and then set a timer for 10-15 minutes. The goal is to get as much done in that timeframe. The winner can have his choice of chores the next day. Setting a timer will also show your child that chores can be done efficiently in a short amount of time.
